The Evangelists are the foot soldiers in the harvestfield casting out devils, healing the sick and raising the dead, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God.

"Then He said to His disciples: the harvest is truly plenteous, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest that He will send out laborers into His harvest". (Matt.9:37-38)  

The need for workers laboring in the field of the gospel has never been more urgent than it is today with a population explosion and dramatic increase of tensions in the world. Jesus said that the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.

Many of those evangelizing in different nations are forsaken, without financial or moral support, either by the local churches or by the body of Christ. Many have lost their vision to evangelize and to win souls; some have been discouraged for lack of resources, while others lack training, mentorship and fathering.

It is in this premise that Evangelist Eddy van Russel and Dr. David Juma have come together to start the "Multiplying Evangelists Program" (MEP) to address this need.

We believe that through MEP many evangelists will be "thrust" - meaning: to suddenly push something or someone in a particular direction. This is what Jesus meant when he said, "pray that the Lord of harvest may send out workers in the harvest". Sending out is an apostolic function of Christ His Church.

The MEP Operations:

The program involves identifying the evangelist with a calling, passion and love for souls; one who has a healthy working relationship with a local church and who is under a mentoring relationship with an apostolic father.
• The evangelist must demonstrate a Christ-like character, moral and ministerial ethics.
• The evangelist must write reports to the leadership, showing specific results in evangelism and
   fruitfulness.
• The evangelist must be willing to participate in a short-term practical and theological training
   program.
• The evangelist must be able to reproduce another evangelist in a specific period of time.

The program seeks, by financially assisting the evangelist and his family during a specific period of time:
• To meet the basis needs as he preaches the gospel.
• The multiplication and reproduction of evangelists so that they can be thrusted into many parts of
  Africa, South-America and Asia.
• The evangelists are preaching in remote areas where there is need, in both urban and rural areas,
  while planting new churches.

We are fully committed to obey the Lord of the harvest to multiplying the gift of evangelism into the lives of many upcoming evangelists.

"Therefore my son be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from us among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful men who will be able to teach others. Therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one who wars tangles with the affairs of life, that he may please him who chose him to be a soldier". (1Tim.3:1-4)

To my spiritual sons and daughters I say, my deep prayer for you is:
"to become followers of us and of the Lord Jesus... So deeply do we care for you that we are determined to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own selves, because you have become very dear to us".(1 Thess. 1:6, 2:8)
